2020 was the year that many people were seeking vision and charting a new course for the future. My path was similar. That spring, my third child graduated from high school and began college. It marked the end of a journey where I had successfully helped my own three children find and fund their ideal college experiences. It marked the beginning of a new journey where I sought to help other families successfully do the same.
My personal experience in the college search process is strengthened by my previous work experience in marketing. Professionally, I have been successful in branding, business planning, public relations, communications, and building relationships with community partners. Most recently, I have been involved in the re-development efforts at Classen Curve and Nichols Hills Plaza. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Clemson University.
As noted, I have practical experience in helping kids find their ideal college experience and helping them secure the funds to attend those schools. To enhance my ability to serve as a college consultant, I’ve become an active member of the Great Plains Association of College Admission Counseling. I currently sit on both the Communications and Scholarships Committees. I have also completed the rigorous Summer Training Institute offered by Independent Education Consultants Association (IECA), and have been accepted as an Associate Member of this national organization. Both organizations set a standard by which college consulting should be delivered. Both also provide an infinite number of resources to ensure that I can provide the best college consulting possible.
