MAY 1st: COLLEGE DECISION DAY
This is one of the most rewarding weeks of the year! The National College Decision Day is Monday, May 1st. This is the day when most students in the Class of 2023 will announce a college decision. For many colleges, it is also the deadline for enrollment deposits – making the decisions real for students and parents alike!
Within my group of Seniors, I think I have a little bit of everything on this College Decision Day. I have one who has known where she will go since the day she received her Early Decision acceptance back in December. I have several who have narrowed down their choices to two very good options – and will probably wait until the very last minute to decide. Last year, I had an Arizona student commit to a college in Maine. This year, I have an Oklahoma student who is ready to commit to a college in Hawaii!
I often mention that I love the process of helping students find and fund their ideal college experiences. Part of the fun is knowing that no two students are alike!
