WHAT DAY WILL YOU APPLY?

Seniors are making some big decisions in the next couple of weeks. Most are weighing whether they will apply through Early Action or Regular Decision to the colleges of their choice. Some are even contemplating Early Decision. November 1st is the magic day for most schools – although Clemson, Georgia, and UNC-Chapel Hill had an October 15 deadline.

For all this, strategy definitely comes into play. For some colleges, you have a real advantage when applying early. For others, the colleges specifically state there is no advantage at all. Some early decision processes are binding, while others simply give you an early answer. And keep in mind that some early processes also require early applications for financial aid and scholarships.

Determining your application strategy may seem like a daunting task, but information is the key. And information is what I provide.
