SUMMER ACTIVITIES

Hip! Hip! Hooray! Summer is here! And it’s the perfect time for rising seniors to get ready for the admissions process. Check out these Top 10 Summer Activities for Rising Seniors:

1 – Write a generic admission essay.

2 – Complete one college admission application.

3 – Collect reference letters.

4 – Visit (or plan to visit) college campuses.

5 – Develop a preliminary list of colleges.

JUNIORS: Summer Activity #8 – Plan to take the SAT and ACT. And the PSAT! Come October, you’ll be taking the PSAT – which is the qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. This single test is the gateway to thousands of dollars in scholarships and some of the most prestigious honors programs in the nation.
