Delta Airlines announces an extension of its Propel Pilot Career Path Program to two more colleges – including one in Oklahoma. If you have an aspiring pilot in this house, this news is one you will want to read. The program allows Delta to supplement pilot hiring needs by offering an accelerated path to selected students. Already available at twelve colleges, the program has now been extended to Southeastern Oklahoma State University and Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Find the details HERE.

The Great Plains Association for College Admission Counseling (GPACAC) is partnering with StriveScan to host a virtual college fair on Sunday, September 19. COUNSELOR BREAKFAST: Yesterday morning, I traveled to Tulsa to meet with admissions representatives from colleges near and far. Schools like Xavier, Seton Hall, Iowa State, Ole Miss, and Missouri joined OU, OSU, UCO, Tulsa, North Texas, Arkansas, Kansas State, and a slew of others to tout their current admissions standards, most popular programs, and generous scholarship offerings. After more than a year of the uncertainty created by COVID, these representatives are eager to promote their colleges and entice the Class of 2022.
